Cruz Beckham has unexpectedly become the subject of online conversation amid the ongoing Beckham family scandal sparked by Brooklyn Beckham’s bombshell accusations.
The 20-year-old attracted a lot of attention online on January 24 when he went out in Paris during Fashion Week with his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel.
The social media investigators focused on Apostel’s appearance; some questioned her age, while others likened her to Cruz’s mother, Victoria Beckham.
“Why does she appear to be twenty years older than him?” One user enquired.
On Saturday, during Fashion Week, Cruz and Apostel were seen arriving at their Paris hotel with protection.
The musician, who sold out a London gig and recently announced his first-ever tour, wore a casual outfit. He was dressed in cargo pants and an oversized, distressed leather jacket.
Apostel, on the other hand, chose a more understated look, donning a baseball cap, a bomber jacket with a vintage vibe, loose-fitting pants and sneakers.
In the photos, the couple seemed unaffected as they entered. Romeo, Cruz’s brother, was also observed departing the hotel on his own.
The couple’s most recent pictures sparked a lot of online discussion, but both brothers are still concentrating on their careers despite the ongoing family drama.
Jackie Apostel was referred to as a “young Posh girl” on the internet due to her age and attractiveness.
The critics concentrated on Apostel’s face and appearance more than Cruz’s historic tour announcement, with similarities to Victoria taking front stage.
One commenter commented, “The boys are all dating a version of Posh Spice,” while another stated, “She’s the copy of his mum.”
A third said, “His girlfriend is a mini Victoria.”
“Not them getting with women that look exactly like their mum” and “She looks like she’s trying to be a young Posh Spice” are two more comparable remarks.
Some viewers were much less tactful, frequently raising concerns about Apostel’s age and implying that she looked much older than Cruz.
“How old is she?” one person enquired. She appears to be ten years or more older than him.
Another merely remarked, “She looks about forty.”
Some even went so far as to attribute the similarity to Victoria’s age compared to David Beckham.
“Seeing all the males dating different versions of their mothers is disgusting. In the same manner that Victoria is older than David, they also choose girlfriends who are older than them.
Apostel has been outspoken about the age gap and has previously confronted it head-on despite the criticism.
Victoria posted a picture of her family—David, Romeo, Harper, and Cruz—sitting next to Anna Wintour and Apostel during Paris Fashion Week on Instagram in October 2025.
An Instagram user labelled the age difference “weird” and asked why a 29-year-old would date a 20-year-old in the comment area.
“Because he’s kind, funny, smart, caring, driven, mature, talented, loyal, and also quite handsome,” Apostel replied.
According to E! News, Cruz and Apostel were first seen together at the Glastonbury Music Festival in June 2024. In October 2024, they officially joined Instagram.
Apostel shared some information on her Instagram Story about how the two initially met.
“Our managers put us in a studio to write some songs together, which is how we first met.”
“I was informed that you had been working on your own project for a long time and that you were discovering who you were.
She went on, “I had no idea what to expect and went in with an open mind.”
She continued, “I left that day knowing that you were an incredible musician, but more importantly that you loved it from the bottom of your heart and that you would never stop, regardless of what anyone else thought.”
She went on to say that their relationship and affection developed as a result of their job.

Apostel began studying poetry and playing the piano at the age of two, which eventually led to her profession as a songwriter.
She stopped recording music as a solo artist after releasing her EP The Reformation in 2020, stating that composition has always been her primary emphasis.
She posted on Instagram, saying, “I’m a studio rat, I’m a creator, I’m a writer, a producer, and an artist in many ways, but releasing the songs we did myself was always just a way of showcasing the tracks.”
Cruz is over ten years younger than the 29-year-old, who presently resides in London. She has been a regular at the Beckham family functions ever since the two became official.
Apostel was present at Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week show in September 2024.
The pair once more backed the former Posh Spice at a Fashion Week performance in March 2025.
